Start your journey from your accommodation, in Arusha and head towards Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch for a day of adventure. This park, Tanzania's largest, is renowned for its baobab trees scattered across the terrain, towering over the wildlife grazing below. The Tarangire River serves as the heart of this park, home to some of the elephant herds, in Africa. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudu, buffalo oryx, eland, giraffes, and zebras during your visit. After the game drive concludes, proceed to your lodge for an evening meal and an overnight stay.
After enjoying a breakfast, you'll set off for Serengeti National Park. Journey through the vast expanses of grasslands that seem to stretch endlessly. Known as one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries globally, the Serengeti offers a truly awe-inspiring experience. During the afternoon, you'll embark on a game drive across the plains of the Serengeti, where you may encounter herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or observe a group of lions relaxing in the shade. A picnic lunch will be provided during this extended game drive. After the game concludes, proceed to your lodge for an evening meal and an overnight stay.
Embarking on a full day game drive, at 8 AM, following a breakfast, you'll be exploring the area of Serengeti National Park today. This renowned safari destination is famous for its lion and leopard populations. The Seronera region in the Serengeti is known for its wildlife diversity, with the Seronera River serving as a vital water source that attracts a wide range of wildlife species found throughout the park. During the migration off-season, keep an eye out for lion prides that thrive in this area. Observing the interactions and survival tactics of these lion prides offers a game-viewing experience all year. After enjoying a picnic lunch during your full-day game drive, head back to your lodge for an evening meal and an overnight stay.
After enjoying your morning meal, you'll embark on a drive, in Serengeti National Park. Following that, you'll head towards Ngorongoro Crater Rim with a lunch. Ngorongoro Crater, known as the worlds collapsed crater, spans fourteen kilometers of pristine natural splendor. Encircled by volcanoes, the crater floor features watering holes and hosts around 30,000 animals. The day concludes with dinner and a night’s sleep at your chosen accommodation
After enjoying an early morning meal, head down to the bottom of the crater for a drive. You'll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, like lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Some of the birds you might see include eagles and vultures around the Crater Lake as storks; bats; large vultures; sacred ibis; Kori bustards; blacksmith plovers; long-necked herons; and cattle eagles. Following a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, you'll embark on a steep climb back up to exit the crater from the top. After a drive to Karatu for your accommodation, your day will wind down. The day concludes with dinner and a night’s sleep at your chosen accommodation. The following day marks the beginning of the stretch of your journey.
The last day of your safari will kick off with breakfast, as usual. Today’s destination is Arusha, through Manyara National Park, where you'll enjoy a half-day game drive. The lush forests of acacia and mahogany trees as you enter the park will set the ambiance for what lies ahead. The game drive will continue until midafternoon, pausing briefly for a picnic lunch. Keep an eye out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys during the drive. One of the highlights of Lake Manyara National Park are the tree-climbing lions. Spotting them is a matter of luck. If you're lucky during the season, you might witness millions of flamingos turning the shoreline pink. In the afternoon, you'll head towards Arusha. Be dropped off at your desired location by around 6 p.m., bidding farewell to your team with memories in hand.
